Robert
Bard,
CFA, PartnerRobert Bard earned a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 1992. Robert joined the investment business at RBC Dominion Securities working in its private wealth management division for three years. Following that, Robert joined Magna Vista Capital Management, a predominantly high net worth investment manager, involved in all aspects of the firm including security analysis, portfolio management, and working with clients on a direct basis. As a Partner of the firm prior to its sale to AGF Management in 2000 and a key member of the investment team following, Robert became the Managing Director in 2005. Robert is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Robert joined DORCHESTER as a Partner in 2009. Robert serves as a senior executive and on the board of a number of non-profit organizations.

Craig,
CA, PartnerRobert Craig earned his CA designation at Peat Marwick & Co. (now KPMG) in 1968 before joining the Montreal firm, Investment Secretariat Ltd. as a portfolio manager responsible for the mutual fund Dominion Equity Investments. In 1979, Investment Secretariat was absorbed by Hodgson, Roberton, Laing & Co. the predecessor company to DORCHESTER, and Robert joined the partnership as a portfolio manager. Today, Robert's responsibilities at DORCHESTER include portfolio management and U.S. large cap equity research.

Gill,
MBA, PartnerA graduate of McGill University, Bruce Gill earned his MBA at the University of Western Ontario before joining Hodgson, Roberton, Laing & Co., the predecessor company to DORCHESTER in 1972. Today, Bruce is a portfolio manager at DORCHESTER with research responsibilities in the area of quantitative and technical analysis. Bruce is a member of The Montreal Society of Financial Analysts and continues to serve on the board of a number of non-profit organizations in Montreal.

PartnerBrian Howard graduated from Loyola College in Montreal with degrees in the Liberal Arts and Commerce. After managing institutional and private client portfolios at National Trust, Calvin Bullock and the Bermuda based Bank of NT Butterfield, Brian joined DORCHESTER in 1987. In addition to managing private client portfolios at DORCHESTER, Brian covers a variety of Canadian and U.S. mid-cap growth companies.

PartnerDavid Sheridan graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Economics before joining Jones Heward & Co. in 1979. At Jones Heward Investment Management Ltd., David covered Canadian oil and gas investments as a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Policy Committee. Joining DORCHESTER in 2001, David is involved in security analysis, investment strategy, and provides discretionary investment management to clients.

MBA, PartnerIsabelle Wehrli earned her MBA in Finance at Concordia University in 1985. Following that, Isabelle joined Lank Roberton Macaulay, the predecessor company to DORCHESTER. At DORCHESTER, in addition to managing portfolios for private clients, Isabelle is involved in the quantitative and fundamental analysis of Canadian equities.

Fulton,
Investment CounsellorMichael Fulton earned his B.Sc. and a graduate diploma in business administration from McGill University and has accumulated over forty years of investment management experience as a financial analyst, investment counsellor, pension fund and mutual fund portfolio manager. A former partner of two prominent investment counselling firms, Michael pursued a successful career at Royal Bank Investment Management as vice-president and portfolio manager before joining DORCHESTER in 2003.

ConsultantAfter spending more than thirty years as a Portfolio Manager, David Garner retired as a Partner of DORCHESTER as at December 31, 2006. He remains involved with the Partnership in a consulting capacity.

Gibouleau,
CFA, Portfolio ManagerEric Gibouleau earned a B.Comm in Finance from McGill University in 2001. Eric joined the investment business at National Bank Financial working in equity and options trading. Following that, Eric joined Magna Vista Investment Management in 2002 shifting through the years from an analytical role to a Portfolio Manager being a key part of the investment process. Eric holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Eric joined DORCHESTER as a Portfolio Manager in 2009.

Investment CounsellorAfter attending McGill University and the University of Montreal, Joyce Kyles joined the Commercial Union Assurance Co. as assistant portfolio manager in 1972. Joyce's career in investment management includes employment at Elgistan Management, Jones Heward & Co. and The National Trust Co. Joyce joined DORCHESTER in 1997. Joyce is active in a number of Montreal-based charitable organizations including the St. Andrew's Society.

MacDonald,
CIM, Assistant Portfolio ManagerJeff MacDonald earned a BA in History from Bishop’s University in 1994. Jeff joined the investment business at BMO Nesbitt Burns working as an Equity Trader. Following that, Jeff joined Magna Vista Investment Management in 1998 working in multiple roles through the years including operations and trading, eventually transitioning to a role of client servicing and portfolio management. Jeff earned the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and is also a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation having completed Level I. Jeff joined DORCHESTER as an Assistant Portfolio Manager in 2009.

MBA, CFA, Portfolio ManagerAfter graduating from McGill University, Peter Reid earned his MBA from the University of Western Ontario in 1962. Peter has extensive institutional investment management experience as a research analyst and portfolio manager with several well known firms including Pitfield MacKay & Co., The Sun Life Co., Jones Heward & Co., Burns Fry Ltd. and RT Investment Counsel. Peter joined DORCHESTER in 1998. Peter is past President of The Montreal Society of Financial Analysts and a former Director of The Financial Analyst Federation. Peter is an active member of the CFA Institute.
